The factory front number plate mounting box on the Lexus GX 550 is oversized for Australian number plates, leaving a large amount of unnecessary plastic around the plate and taking away from the clean styling of the front end. Our OEM Plinth Delete Kit replaces the factory mounting box with a cleaner, more compact and versatile mounting solution.
The kit features two front plinth options. The OEM Hole Miniature Plinth covers the factory mounting holes for a clean, finished appearance, while the Small Miniature Plinth is designed for number plates with a smaller footprint, such as Signature or 3-4 Character Plates
To finish the installation, the kit also includes plugs and dress screws to neatly fill the remaining holes left behind by the original mounting box.
The result is a cleaner front end with the number plate mounted neatly and securely, without the oversized factory mounting box.
