Rear number plate mounting on vehicles like the Ferrari F8 can be difficult due to the limited flat mounting surfaces and varying plate sizes used across Australia. A traditional plate installation often requires drilling multiple holes or committing to a fixed mounting position that may not suit future plate changes.
Our Rear Modular Base Plate is designed to solve this problem by creating a clean and flexible mounting foundation. Manufactured from aluminium, the base plate is securely mounted to the rear panel using high strength 3M adhesive. Once installed, it provides a reversable and precisely positioned mounting surface for your number plate setup.
The base plate features multiple tapped mounting points, allowing it to function as a fully modular system. Any Flow Brackets number plate bracket can be attached directly to the base plate, enabling you to mount a wide range of Australian plate formats including Heritage, Slimline, Euro, and Standard sizes.
The compact shape is carefully designed to accommodate even smaller formats such as three or four digit Heritage plates while still supporting larger plates when paired with the appropriate bracket. This ensures the mounting platform remains discreet behind the number plate while maintaining maximum flexibility.
Once the base plate is installed and centred correctly, it becomes a mounting foundation. From that point forward, number plate brackets can be swapped or adjusted without needing to drill new holes or modify the vehicle again.
The result is a clean, secure, and modular rear plate mounting system that allows full flexibility across different number plate styles while maintaining a refined floating plate appearance.
