The M3 CS and M4 CSL feature a completely unique front bumper design that makes mounting Australian number plates difficult. The factory plate position sits too low and the curvature of the front bar leaves no flat surface for proper alignment. Our miniature plinth system provides a precise, modular solution that keeps the plate centred and secure without disrupting the car’s aerodynamics.
Each plinth is shaped to match the contours of the M3 CS and M4 CSL bumper and installs cleanly using the supplied alignment jig. The mounting surface sits flat and balanced across the carbon and grille sections, ensuring the plate sits straight and level.
The system works with all Flow Brackets and supports every Australian plate style including slimline, heritage, euro, and standard. Once installed, you can easily swap brackets if you change plates in the future without drilling or damaging the bumper.
The result is a factory quality floating plate finish that complements the front end of the G8X platform, removing the bulky OEM box and achieving a cleaner, more balanced look that suits both the CS and CSL models.
