The BMW i5 M50 comes with a wide factory plate box that does not suit Australian number plates. Our miniature plinth replaces that oversized mount with a smaller, proportional base that keeps the plate centred and aligned without covering the front bar.
The plinth uses a two part system. The plinth is specific to the i5 and the bracket is specific to your number plate style. Once installed, you can run almost any Australian plate size by pairing the plinth with the correct Flow Brackets plate bracket.
Installation can be done with double sided tape or tape plus two screws. Tape only is suitable for lightweight plates, while heavier options such as heritage, signature, or framed plates should use the screw provisions built into the plinth. Primer and alcohol wipes are included to prepare the surface for a proper bond.
An installation jig is included to position the plinth perfectly. It aligns to the lower grille so the plinth always goes on centred, level, and straight. Once the plinth is fitted, remove the jig and bolt on the plate bracket that matches your plate style.
The result is a clean floating plate position that removes the bulky factory box and gives the BMW i5 M50 a tidy, proportional finish suited to Australian plates.
