The factory number plate mounting box on the Porsche Taycan is oversized and rarely suits the plate style fitted to the car. It often forces small or premium plates to sit awkwardly and usually requires the dealership to drill additional holes into the bumper during delivery.
Our Porsche Taycan miniature plinth is designed to replace the factory mounting box with a much smaller and cleaner solution. The reduced size allows it to sit discreetly behind slimline and premium plates while creating a proper base for flat and well aligned fitment.
This plinth offers a true no drill option for new vehicles. Using a tape only installation with supplied 3M automotive tape and adhesion promoter, the plinth can be mounted without creating any holes in the bumper. An included alignment tool locates around the front camera and ensures the plinth is positioned correctly and centred every time.
For vehicles that already have factory holes, the plinth can also be mounted using the existing mounting points. Elongated slots allow for tolerance where factory screws were not installed perfectly straight, while the alignment tool ensures the plinth is positioned accurately before tightening.
Once installed, the miniature plinth pairs with our Flow Brackets system. A separate bracket is selected to suit your specific number plate style, including slimline, standard, heritage, or prestige plates. This two part system allows precise height and position adjustment so the plate sits flat and visually balanced on the front of the Taycan.
This system removes the bulky factory mounting box, avoids unnecessary drilling, and delivers a clean floating look that suits the modern front end of the Porsche Taycan.
